Responsible Traveler Rewards

The Responsible Traveler Rewards program aims to identify sensitized travelers and reward them for their conscious choices regarding accommodation, in tourism establishments that have been awarded with the Green Key ecolabel.

Accommodation at a Green Key ecolabel awarded establishment, as a choice, supports those businesses which are consciously interested in their ecological footprint on the environment and actively participate in the sustainable development of the local community and the Greek economy.

In recognition of and as a reward to the sensitized travelers for their choices, they earn Reward Points with every booking in the 390+ establishments from all over Greece that participate in the program.

1. These Reward Points can be redeemed by travelers in any of the following ways they wish: Donation to environmental actions carried out on a national level by the Hellenic Society for the Protection of Nature.
2. Donation of part or all of the Reward Points to an organization of your choice
3. Redeem part of the Reward Points to purchase a Green way box

The Responsible Traveler Rewards program has a Cyclical Effect, which gives feedback to all the parties involved.

The Responsible Traveler Rewards program has 3 main objectives:

1. Protection of the environment
2. Enhancement of the Local Communities
3. Support of the Greek Economy

From the net income of the reservations, 46% is allocated to actions, out of which 65% is forwarded to Responsible Traveler Rewards which you choose where you want to redeem.

For the purpose of Environmental Protection, actions are carried out at local level by the establishments awarded with the Green Key ecolabel that participate in the program and actions are carried out at national level by the Hellenic Society for the Protection of Nature.

Green Way Box

The Green way box is a “green” box with selected traditional and quality Greek food products. The income from the booking fee goes to the Greek economy and does not “travel” elsewhere, as is the case with your booking through a large online travel agent abroad.

It all starts with your search for accommodation among 390+ awarded with the Green Key ecolabel establishments in Greece.

Once you find the establishment you are interested in, you can proceed directly with the online booking of the guest room you want.

Your booking is confirmed immediately and within a few seconds, you will receive an email as confirmation of your booking.

Create a Responsible Traveler Rewards account

If you have not created a Responsible Traveler Rewards account with free registration, your account will be created automatically from our system after your 1^st booking, and you will receive an email with information regarding the login data of your account.

Redeem Reward Points

According to the terms of your booking, on the day that the amount of your booking is paid, your Responsible Traveler Rewards account will be credited with Reward Points that correspond to the value of your booking.

On the day your Reward Points are credited in your account you will receive an email with information regarding the Reward Points you have earned, which will be immediately available to be redeemed as you wish.

You can redeem the Reward Points you earn with any the following 3 options:

1. Donation to environmental actions carried out on a national level by the Hellenic Society for the Protection of Nature.
2. Donation of part or all of the Reward Points to an organization of your choice
3. Redeem part of the Reward Points to purchase a Green way box
